Travel and love propaganda or viral project #Followmeto

Surely you have seen more than once the photos on which the guy holds the hand of a girl against the backdrop of the sights of different countries?
They are jokingly called the most famous back and the most famous hand of Instagram. This couple inspired an incredible amount of people all over the world. And this is the most beautiful love story that Instagram knows. Well, for sure, one of the most famous!

The creators of the project "Follow me" are Murad Osman and his wife Natalia Osmann. They live and work in Moscow, but travel a lot together. So they came up with this romantic photo project, filled with love, beauty, life and colors.

This history of success and worldwide fame can begin by chance! This is the story of the Instagram phenomenon “Follow me”.  The motto of “follow me” reflects the essence of the project's photo frames - a girl whose faces are not visible, is directed forward and leads her boyfriend. There is a second meaning of “follow me to” like “follow me” in socials nets, so this phrase became magical and users from all over the world as enchanted began to follow the Instagram account of this romantic couple.
Now more than 4 million people follow the project in social nets.

Each new photo, laid out on the Internet, instantly spreads in social networks and receives thousands of enthusiastic comments. In addition, Murad has a lot of followers who are photographed in this way. So, the photo project, which was not even planned, became a world movement.

However, I will tell you how it all began.

The first photo was taken in Spain, in Barcelona, almost 5 years ago. The couple walked around the city, holding hands, Murad took pictures of landscapes. At some point Natasha was tired of standing in one place and she suddenly pulled his hand. One random click – and he made the first shot of the cult series. Murad liked the resulting shot and thus randomness became an original style.
In a year there were publications in "VK", then Reddit wrote about the project. There were articles in British newspapers “The Daily Mail” and “The Sun” - tabloids with millions of copies. Even “National Geographic Traveler Magazine” published the photo on the cover. Viral effect has worked.

For 5 years, many photos have been published, made in the most beautiful places on the planet. A few first shots were taken on the iPhone. But now every photo is a whole story, with a special place for shooting, interesting clothes and accessories. Murad and Natalia have already visited Venice, Tokyo, Paris, Bali, London, Singapore, New York and many others cities.
They made a travel video blog about how they are preparing for the photo session and this was broadcast on the central Russian TV channel.
People so much like the idea of a photos so they began make their own. It was a swell of #Followme. And now we can find a lot of parodies in the internet and especially on Instagram.

How listening your clients can change your company

...if you have customers, they can help you. If you’re in a consumer service business— like a restaurant chain—you can ask for suggestions, or set up a private community. If you sell to businesses, your customers may have suggestions on how to improve your processes, your pricing, your billing, or your services. Have you ever thought about how much depends on people’s perception of your brand ? Not only their personal opinion, but also your sales, popularity and even reputation. Here I’m going to show you examples which I found really interesting. It's about of how some companies changed the brand perception by listening to customers.  Harley-Davidson knows how to improve image What do people know about this brand today? Probably, the fact that this brand is the most popular in the field of motorcycles. But 32 years ago, in 1985, the company's debts exceeded $ 90 million. It was literally bankrupt.   All of this because in those years the company lost the c...

Messengers of the future: 3 functions we are waiting for

Millions of people use instant messengers, but as full-featured applications, messengers take an unstable position. Primarily they were created to communicate as a free alternative to SMS-services from cell phone providers. The  first messengers became very popular because they were free and accessible.  Now they are slowly pushing out social networks. As many new messenger apps are being created, there is a trend where each one tries to surpass the others and offer something new. Popular messengers, WeChat, Viber, Snapcha t, Google Hangouts, WhatsApp, Telegram, all have interesting and unique functions. Each of them is aimed for a particular audience. But still, most of them do not have internal systems for marketing, so you have to pull users from social networks into instant messengers using advertisements in the same social networks. As a result, the audiences tend to be the same, and there is no sense of this change-over. The IT- developers are actively ...

Phenomenon: YouTube instead of TV

Several generations of people have grown up with a firm attitude: everything that television broadcasts is authoritative, people can believe without hesitation. The Internet destroyed this connection, and the new generation had to look for its own reference point. And if the generation of X turned out to be a transitional one in this sense, then " Millennials " born after 1981 remained with the Network one on one. And there was a YouTube boom. Math lesson     According to the Acumen Report, which included a two-week online forum, online and offline interviews of young people aged 13 to 24 living in the US, 88% of them spend an average of 6.2 hours per week on the Web. 67% of respondents can’t imagine their lives without YouTube, and 48% without social networks. And only a third indicated the source of entertainment as TV. Why should you watch a video? 77% do it to cope with boredom, and 57% - to cheer themselves up. The YouTube site is loaded every minu...
