VSCO is a company that creates digital tools for
creative people. The most popular VSCO product is the VSCO Cam application for
photo edit which competes with Instagram.
Visual Supply Company was founded by Joel Flory and

designers and photographers, but these tools were not very popular. Everything
changed when in June 2013 a free VSCO Cam application was released - on the
first week after the release it was downloaded by over a million people, and the
company managed to attract not only professional photographers but also just
users of Instagram.
Now for VSCO working several dozen people who used
to do projects for Apple, MTV, Audi, Levi's, Adobe, Sony, Xbox, Getty Images,

Looking at trends
I choose to look at VSCO trends over last one year.
We can see the peak on December 24 - December 30, 2017.
Why it happened?
At this period of time VSCO made a realease of the new tool and it caused big interest!
I compared VSCO to VSCOCAM (software) during the same period of time (past 12 months)
The graphic shows that people more interested in whole company not just smartphone app.
Social Mention allows
us to look at the different aspects of the posts.
"strength"
Strength is the
likelihood that your brand is being discussed in social media.
"sentiment"
Sentiment is the
ratio of mentions that are generally positive to those that are generally
negative.
Passion is a measure
of the likelihood that individuals talking about your brand will do so
repeatedly.
"reach"
Reach is a measure of
the range of influence. It is the number of unique authors referencing your
brand divided by the total number of mentions.
So, here I've compared the whole day, week, and month to get a comprehensive picture of what is happening.
We can see from these metrics that most posts
are neutral, meaning they are not strongly negative or positive. Reach,
strength and passion are all relatively low. This may be due to the fact that the company is new and they haven't had time to build a strong reputation.
Also, looking at VSCO
results from Social Mention, I noticed that the activity on Twitter was much
higher than then through traditional blog channels.
Summarizing the first part of VSCO's Social Media Monitoring I would like to admit that the company actively holds a leading position among photo editing applications and users are
enthusiastically following the VSCO’s community at social networks.
